Why Goldyears
Sessions Designed for People, Not for Salespeople
Every choice we make — in how sessions are structured, what materials we produce, and how we communicate — is oriented around the participant's ability to understand and decide at their own pace.
Back to HomeWhat You Get
At a Glance
A summary of what attending a Goldyears workshop gives you — and what it deliberately does not include.
Plain-Language Content
Every topic is explained in clear, everyday English without assuming prior familiarity with Thai retirement structures or workplace benefit terminology.
Publicly Sourced Information
All content is drawn from official Thai government publications and publicly documented workplace structures — nothing is invented or interpreted beyond what those sources state.
Take-Home Materials
Participants leave with reading packs, checklists, and folder templates — practical documents to use after the session, not just during it.
No Sales Activity
No products are promoted. No referrals to financial service providers happen within our sessions. Participants come to learn — and that is all we ask them to do.
Small Group Format
Groups are kept small enough that participants can ask questions during the session, rather than sitting in a large audience where clarification feels impossible.
Regularly Reviewed Content
Session materials are updated at least twice a year in line with publicly announced changes to relevant Thai regulations and documentation requirements.
In Depth
How Each Benefit Works in Practice
Session Expertise
Facilitator Background
Our facilitators come from backgrounds in public administration and Thai labour relations. They are not financial advisers, and they do not present themselves as such. Their expertise is in explaining publicly available systems clearly — breaking down the structure of the Social Security Fund, provident fund documentation, and government retirement benefit communications into terms that working adults can absorb in a single session.
- Backgrounds in public administration and HR communication
- Ongoing familiarity with publicly available Thai retirement documentation
- Experience adapting complex systems language for general audiences
Session Structure
Proven Format
Sessions follow a linear, section-by-section structure so participants always know where they are in the material. Each topic is introduced, explained, and checked for understanding before moving to the next. There are no surprise pivots or sales conclusions at the end. The flow is calm and predictable by design.
- Clear section-by-section progression
- Time for questions built into the schedule
- Written summaries of each topic distributed as materials
Participant Support
Before and After
Our team is available by phone and email during office hours to answer questions about what sessions cover, how to prepare, and what to bring. After attending, participants can email general follow-up questions about the session content — though we will always refer anything that requires personal advice to a qualified professional.
- Pre-session email confirmation with preparation notes
- Office hours phone and email support
- Post-session written feedback invitation
Transparent Pricing
Fixed Per-Session Fees
All workshop prices are published on our website and quoted in Thai baht. There are no add-on charges, no subscription fees, and no follow-up upsell sessions. The price for each workshop includes all materials — reading packs, checklists, and templates — at no additional cost.
- Orientation Seminar: ฿3,400 per person, materials included
- Document Organisation Workshop: ฿6,800 per person, materials included
- Employer Group Programme: ฿11,200, presentation materials included
Practical Outcomes
What Participants Leave With
We measure success by whether participants leave better equipped to read, organise, and navigate the paperwork related to their retirement situation — not by whether they have made any particular decision. The goal is understanding, not action. People who understand their situation are better positioned to ask the right questions of the right professionals when the time comes.
- Clearer reading of common retirement and benefit documents
- Organised personal filing system using provided templates
- Improved ability to follow and communicate benefit information
How We Compare
Goldyears vs Typical Information Sessions
Many people have attended retirement-related presentations that left them less clear, not more. Here is how our format differs.
| Feature | Goldyears | Typical Providers |
|---|---|---|
| Session content scope | Publicly available information only | Often mixed with product promotion |
| Take-home materials | Included in all workshops | Frequently unavailable or branded |
| Sales pressure | None — no referrals in session | Common at end of sessions |
| Group size | Small, questions welcome | Often large seminar format |
| Content review frequency | Twice yearly minimum | Rarely disclosed |
| Employer-focused option | Dedicated HR programme available | Rarely offered as standalone |
What Sets Us Apart
Distinctive Features of the Goldyears Approach
Scope Boundary Built Into Every Session
We open every session by explaining clearly what we cover and, more importantly, what we do not cover. This boundary is a feature, not a disclaimer. Participants know they are receiving educational content — not professional advice — before the first topic begins.
Thailand-Specific Content Only
Our sessions are built exclusively around the Thai retirement system. We do not mix in international pension comparisons, offshore considerations, or any content that does not directly relate to the situation of someone living and working in Thailand.
Employer Programme Designed for Reuse
The materials provided to HR teams in our Group Information Programme are formatted for internal reuse — not for one-off delivery. Teams leave with something they can refer back to, adapt for their communications, and use year after year.
Preparation Notes Sent in Advance
Registered participants receive a pre-session email explaining what topics will be covered and, where relevant, which documents they may want to bring along to follow certain sections more easily. Preparation is optional, not required.
